Author Guideliness

General Information

  • Journal of Digital Informatics is published twice a year (May and November).

  • There is no submission or publication fee.

  • Manuscripts must be written in Indonesian, submitted in doc/docx format (not rtf/pdf).

  • By submitting to this journal, the author(s) confirm that the manuscript:

    • Has not been published elsewhere.

    • Is not under consideration in another journal.

    • Meets the aims and scope of this journal.

  • All manuscripts will be checked using plagiarism detection software.

The Editorial Board reserves the right to edit submitted manuscripts for style, format, and clarity. Authors may be requested to revise their manuscripts accordingly.


Submission Requirements

  • Upload blinded manuscript (main text, tables, figures, references).

  • Upload title page (separate file) containing:

    • Author(s) list with affiliation(s).

    • Contributions of each author.

    • Author biography(ies).

    • Grants/funding sources.

    • Acknowledgments.

    • Declaration of interest.

    • Availability of supplementary data.


Authorship

  • Clearly state the contributions of each author.

  • Identify the corresponding author with full contact details.


Manuscript Structure

Abstract

  • Written in Indonesian and English.

  • Should consist of: Introduction, Methods, Results, Conclusion.

Keywords

  • Provide 3โ€“6 keywords/phrases for indexing.

Statistical Methods

  • Describe statistical methods in detail in the Methods section.

  • Explain sampling technique, sample/informant criteria, data collection, and data analysis.

Conflict of Interest

  • Declare any potential conflicts of interest.

Acknowledgment

  • Mention individuals, institutions, or funding sources that supported the research.

Formatting

  • Use Tahoma, font size 11, line spacing 1.0.


Tables

  • Table numbers and titles are placed above the table (bold).

  • One line spacing before and after the table.

  • Sub-variables are indented one character from the variable.

  • Numbers are center-aligned; titles are center-aligned; variable text is left-aligned.

  • Different variable groups in one table should be in bold.

  • Decimal numbers: maximum three decimal places.

  • Narration should not repeat table contents, but interpret them.

  • Tables should not be split across pages, unless the table exceeds one page. In such cases, continuation must begin at the top of the next page.


Figures, Diagrams, and Graphs

  • Insert after the related text.

  • Do not use frames.

  • Captions should be placed below the figure/diagram/graph.

  • Images must be clear, high resolution, and relevant to the study.


References

  • Follow APA (American Psychological Association) 6th Edition.

  • DOI must be included (if available).

  • References must be from the last 10 years.

  • All cited references must appear in the reference list.

  • Strongly recommended to use Mendeley or EndNote for citation management.

  • If the source is in Indonesian, translate the title into English (add [in Indonesian] at the end).
